Using Google Docs in class, I translated my first book from English to a few other languages and then back again to see how much it messed up my sentence structure. It named Cloudrunner 'Alba' after re-translating, and I later used this name in book two as a joke.
Alba wasn't a character prior to writing book 2. He was never planned to be a part of the story. Over time, however, he somehow made his way into the story.
